Guidelines for project evaluation
EcoCrowd is a crowdfunding platform exclusively for sustainable projects. But what is a sustainable project for us? In cooperation with our project advisory board and in discussion with our shareholders, a list of guidelines for the project evaluation emerged, which does not only reflect our view on sustainability, but can also be applied to real projects. We would like to thank all those who participated in the creation!
Basics
Our guidelines don’t aim at being exclusive and they cannot be. But they ensure the quality of the projects on our platform. The output as well as the input of the projects is considered in order to guarantee that an added value is created for the environment through the use of sustainable concepts and resources.
In order to do so, not all criteria must be met, but all alternatives should be considered.
By using the guidelines, we can ensure a high degree of transparency in project assessment by the crowd, since the same standard is always set and is clear at all times.
